Biographical Information

 

James Francisco Bonilla, Ed.D.

Jim Bonilla is associate professor in the Graduate School of Public Administration & Management at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Bonilla's primary duties are teaching undergraduate courses in conflict studies and graduate courses in organizational theory & behavior and social identity & conflict. He is also coordinator of the Hamline University Race, Gender & Beyond Project serving as an in-house consultant to university faculty on issues of teaching for diversity. His current research interests include multicultural organizational development in higher education, ecojustice, and conflict in racially diverse settings. He is a past recipient of the Graduate School of Public Administration & Management's' Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year Award as well as Hamline University's Multicultural & International Student Affairs Outstanding Faculty Award.
